Ali Neal, the SEN classroom OT offers this instant access 6 module course to enable staff to feel confident running sensory circuits for pupils.
WHY sensory circuits are often recommended
WHAT equipment should be used
HOW should pupils use that equipment
WHEN circuits should be run
WHO should attend
WHERE circuits can be run
The course should be attended by teaching staff who will be running the sensory circuits.
This course focuses on mainstream primary SEN pupils, and more cognitively able special school pupils but can be adapted for all pupils who are able to follow instructions.
Staff will be taught underlying knowledge and skills so that this learning becomes transferable and can be implemented in a universal and targeted way across the school.
